It's Monday "WOOT WOOT"! I had to take last Monday off because I was drained from my ultra busy Sunday. And it wasn't just busy but it was action packed. Like each thing that I had to do came with some baggage I had to carry attached to it. So while I enjoyed every element of the day it was a weighty day to participate in to say the very least. Nevertheless we are here today dearly beloved and we are indeed gathered here for Makeup Monday. Most people just watch my reel on Instagram or my post on Facebook so if you traveled over here it's because you wanted to see the WHOLE video or you're on the email list. Either way thank you for your interest. Please tell some others who you think would appreciate this because the Reels do okay depending on how moody the algorithm is but most people unfortunately don't travel here so it can be a tad annoying but I enjoy what I'm doing and believe in it so I lean in harder.

Okay let's jump into this one. Each week I try to find a specific part of the look to kind of concentrate on for conversation. This week it was the blush, what made me try this kind of 3 shade blush was the inspiration behind the look. I usually grab ideas for my makeup from Pinterest. When I do it it doesn't turn out EXACTLY like theirs however I know enough to kind of get me in the ballpark and then create my dope look from it. Don't ever be intimidated by the look you want to try. As long as you have the basic colors that are featured and you like how they look together no matter how near or far you get the results will be cool because it's ultimately about the color cohesion more so than executing the perfection of the look. The motivational muse had this white shimmery look on her cheeks. Now she was white, so we must keep this in mind when executing, glory to god, because it will not look the same on brown skin as it does on lighter skin tones AMEN. So common sense said don't just put a shimmery white blush or eyeshadow on your cheeks sis. You will look like you fell down in the snow while my Caucasian friend I was trying to mimic looked like Tinkerbelle's sister from Pixie Hollow (she doesn't have a sister by the way and I know that because I'm obsessed with her story but thats for another day LOL). The compromise was to take the warmer tones I like to use in my blush, like the bronze and yellow and then just add the shimmery white color to that. Literally I had three different shades on my brush (you'll see it on the video) and just kind of dabbed then brushed but it worked out pretty well tho at least in my opinion. When you look at me from certain angles I gave Fairy a lil bit LOL. That's all this is about ya know, trial and error. Finding new things to try on yourself that you like so you never get bored and become a one trick pony. One of the secrets to my confidence is that I never look the same. So when I get tired of looking one way (because we all do) I know what to do next or have ideas because of things I've already tried and that goes for hair and makeup.
Here's every content creators least favorite part (til you start getting paid for it) listing products because when everyone starts traveling to this blog in droves if they see me use something that would make them feel good about themselves to have and use then I want you to be able to get right to it. #teamconfidence over here !!!
And there you have it! Check back Friday and Saturday to see if "Fashion Friday" and "Stories On The Street Saturdays" Are Up. Have An Awesome Week๐
