MAKE UP MONDAY

It's Monday Babes! Hope you had a great weekend. Sometimes great can just mean it was peaceful and that is one of my favorite ways to be. You know what it is round here, it's Monday and that means we are playing in some makeup. This one had a lot of "firsts" of sorts for me. For one I never do the cat eye thing. I am actually not a fan of it at all. If you like it, it's all good it's just a personal preference for me. I'm all about enhancing and a lot of times when I see it, it doesn't project the type of esthetic I'm interested in. So why did you do it today? Thank You so much for asking, A lot of the time I get my inspiration from Pinterest on fashion and makeup. I've actually thought about posting the original look here and then showing you my version. I'm still playing with the idea. If you think I should let me know. Anyway, the look that I drew the inspiration from had a cat eye. I think my aversion to it is more so when people feature that particular technique by itself as the star of the eye makeup. When I did it along with the smoky eye I thought it paired very well. I learned in what will probably be next Mondays video that it can also be good to include the bottom lid of your eye in your cat eye. Now I'm not gone cap, usually one eye comes out flawless and the other looks like you were having a trimmer while doing it. That is kind of natural, at least for me. I be tearing one eye up so rather than believe I'm bad at it we're just going to go with "it's natural". LOL Like this particular day it was like the skin on my right eyelid was literally balling up in front of it to create little speed bumps and that's exactly what the line looked like, little speed bumps. You can always hold the skin and pull it back and go over the line and that will smooth it out. I'm sure like most things you can better with practice.

I would also like to take this time to highlight my new favorite palette. It is super efficient for the smoky look but also if you like the earthy colors like brown, tan, pale (at least that's what I'm calling it). Even if you don't use primer they are extremely smooth and come off vibrant. It is called "Mishco Beauty". From the last time I checked they only had one palette unfortunately and I found them through my subscription to "Ipsy". They sent me one of their Blushes in my monthly bag and once I used that I loved it so much I went to look to see if they had eyeshadows. I was sad it was only the one but I've definitely primarily used that since I received it. In the extremely likely event (LOL speak those things) that someone affiliated with them comes across my blog please please please come out with more eyeshadow colors.

The lipsticks were my cream ones from NYX Cosmetics and I also adore them as well. I have a few different shades. The great thing about these are when you want to create an Ombre effect they work and blend very well with other lipsticks and the brush kind of helps to smooth and blend everything.

So that's all I got for you. I did indeed film my "Fashion Friday" I just didn't have the energy to edit it last Thursday but I have all week this week so I'll be here Friday. Will you?

Have A Great Week and Enjoy The Full Video Below
