SCRATCH THAT

Welcome back to Makeup Mondays here on Anomaly Street. This one feels like a turning point for me. This was the inaugural episode where I learned that if you scratch the eyeshadow you can get the color to come up and really pop. If you're like me then you thought that you had to buy more expensive eyeshadows. The first realization was when I purchased primer. That was the first corner that I turned in my makeup journey. Primer made my eyeshadow graduate and I was super happy about that. There was an immediate pop with that acquisition. However when I was doing my makeup this particular day I was just like "I know this eyeshadow should be coming up better than this like c'mon dude". Maybe it was Jesus, idk but something was like dude scratch the eyeshadow like that sucker is itching LOL. NO CAP! So I did and when I did it was like oooooohhhhh LOL.
Now this is something that you may have already known but I'm not a makeup artist and I'm not someone who habitually sits in front of my phone or laptop and watches youtube or any kind of tutorials. I really am not a social media mega consumer. I get on, post my reels or schedule my pictures to post and then I get off and might I add I like it that way. I really only and honestly do these videos just for the girls who don't want to do full face makeup but know they want and or need to do something and need ideas. I really do this for you guys. I just want to give you ideas that will help your confidence. That is the honest to GOD truth so we are on this journey of learning together.
I didn't talk through this video because it's just to freakin long to talk. This look took around the 20 minute mark so if you're in a rush this may not be the look to try but when you do have time this one is beautiful and little on the bolder side and sometimes your outfit or the occasion calls for that. Sometimes when you walk in a room you need to to SCREAM "IM HERE" without ever opening your mouth and this is one of those ones that will do just that. So grab your brush and pump up the volume.
