MAKEUP MONDAY

Happy Monday! 2nd Monday in February and it feels like this year is moving by quickly. When you think about January, doesn't it feel like that month was so long ago? Things are moving but the truth of the matter is you still have time to lay a good foundation to your year. So lay it and when you do make sure that your foundation is built with consistency and assure yourself that where your inspiration ends your discipline begins. Let us jump into the green of the day. I don't think its a secret that my approach to my look(s) is usually creative based on whether your admiring or being polite and either way it's fine lol.

I was actually going to church that day and I needed to be fly and classy in a subtly obvious way 😂 . The outfit did alllll the heavy lifting for me, the hair was still okay then too.....it was fresh at least lol. I've learned the relationship between fashion, hair and makeup is not always equal but it must be a "working" relationship. Chances are one will do the brunt of the work because when one is the star the others are just the supporting cast. You just need to accent it. The blush to me was the all rage in this one. I'm sure the lipstick is what made everybody do a double take or cast their vote for or against however when you watch the video once I put the blush on my whole face takes on a whole different look. It's almost like a glow takes place. I literally could have put on my eyelashes and walked out the house. I love the bronze and gold on my cheeks but lately the color blush has been working good wonders. Highlighted just that part of the video for you right here.

Makeup really is mood activated. Just go with the flow and if something that you used to do no longer works don't just commit to it because it's comfortable. Your look has a direct plug in to your confidence so let's make sure we make that a priority. Play around a little and just so you know I was playing this day (and most). I'm not a makeup artist and I don't usually know how things will actually look when I'm done. I have a general idea of what colors I want on my eyes that day and I shape it from there. Now there is a look I did Friday that was based around the lipstick primarily but we shall get to that in maybe two more weeks so keep coming back 😆 . Point is get a general idea that is the foundation and then move from there. I'm sure I've said it before but Pinterest is often times responsible for helping me navigate. If I know I want to wear yellow lipstick that day then I just search for "yellow lipstick makeup looks" and you scroll until you see something that looks obtainable and that you can see on your face. You won't always be the origin of the inspiration you just have to execute. Anyway, I've taken up enough time talking. The video is below. Enjoy and create 💡 !
