It is indeed Monday and if you have traveled from social media to here then bravo to you. The tricky thing about having a business today is the ability to get people f

rom social media to your actual content creation space. You must have a social media presence but the conversion rate is a joke, so if you made the trip.....THANK YOU!

Thanks to the social media age you have to make creating content second nature. The good news for me is much of what I do has a link so you can kind of help everything as long as you stay committed to the process. What do I mean?

Since I have a brand, "Lejend Rose 🥀 " I need to make sure that I am keeping fresh pieces as well as fresh media, be it pictures or videos or fashion shows infront of people so they know or at least believe that what I'm doing is progressing and budding. The good news about the need for constant photo shoots is that it aids the "Makeup Monday" franchise 😆. Can't look a mess in pictures......well at least you shouldn't, so at least on those days I have to be together. Those are the days I position my camera and capture me doing my face.

I've said it a considerable amount of times but hopefully there is always somebody new on the page so it bares repeating. I am not at all a makeup artist nor do I wish to be. What I am though is a female who 97% of the time feels pretty good about myself and how I look and when I don't I switch my look. I am on a constant committed journey to make low self esteem an endangered species in women. Feeling good about yourself goes deeper than skin but it starts and ends there and anybody who loves themselves can tell you they had to fall in love with who they saw in the mirror and that does mean you have to like the physical part of you. There is no way around it. That doesn't mean becoming vain it just means being pleased with your reflection and I can assure you there is nothing wrong with that.

So yea this was a shoot day. I wanted to do a little more than I had been doing because if you've been here over the last two weeks I've been doing the minimal and liking it. Funny thing about minimal or natural beauty is, sometimes that sucker is hard to capture on camera 😂 so I wanted to do a touch more this day and I'm very glad that I did because I feel like it read very well. The ombre lips are my favorite part of this look. More so for the fact that most of the time when you see that its going from a darker to a lighter shade of the same color. When I did this I mixed two colors that were not the same and some would argue are not related however at least in my opinion it still worked. As a matter of fact the eye color palette also did not contain neither color on my lips really and yet for some reason it was still successful. Fashion and makeup a lot of time is about believing in whatever it is that you're doing. There was enough yellow on my eyes and lips to make it all work I guess. I also know that yellow as a base color for eyes works. You can put that sucker with pink, orange, blue, purple. I don't know why but it's a universal color in the language of makeup. The lipstick being a mustard more than a yellow definitely helped. Yellow in Lipstick is different than in eyeshadow. It works in a good edited photo shoot but it does not translate as smoothly in real life. Unless you like being stared at then by all means go for it. Yellow and Mint Green are just great ideas for lipstick but their transition to reality can be tricky. Especially for women with bigger lips like myself. Anyway the full video is below. The grey color which I really love is by NYX and Mustard color is by a black company I found on Instagram called "Aboni". ENJOY!
